High School Positions

NOVICE COACH - Our novice coaches are trained in order to acquire the skill knowledge necessary to coach our recreational classes. It is the coaches’ responsibility to stay up to date on lesson plans, which are delegated, and to follow the systems in place which nurture our students’ growth and progress. These coaches work in a fast paced environment that requires adroit time management, strong speaking skills for when they prospect to and communicate with parents, and the capacity to maintain a calm and playful demeanor under pressure. This position can be incredibly demanding in a mental capacity, as Preschool Coaches train with students between the ages of 18 months and 6 years old. Anyone instructing a class with students under 7 years of age will be required to participate in ‘silly’ and ‘childish’ games as a means of keeping our younger students engaged.

Requirements: Coaches must be:

  • Punctual and timely in their arrival times, as they go straight into very engaging work as   soon as they clock in; this requires early arrival to settle in and gather any materials/information you may need to perform to standard.

  • Able to maintain high energy, engagement, and awareness throughout 3 to 4 back-to-back class sessions in a day; this enables them to assess the skill level of all students in their class, while being able to give accurate and knowledgeable information to parents regarding a student’s behavior, progress, and any injuries they may incur

  • Pay attention to details when giving corrections to students in regards to skills

  • Manage time effectively, as they are given specific amounts of time to perform tasks that involve cleaning AND the instruction of classes

  • Willing to sing to and with our younger students

  • Confident in facilitating classes involving parent participation (mommy & me classes)

  • Urgent in their execution of assigned tasks; Pre-School classes are shorter in length and coaches are expected to complete all tasks assigned to them between classes effectively and to Gymnastics Elite standards.

  • Comfortable speaking to and addressing, in a way that is both enthusiastic and professional, parents and students who are unfamiliar; part of this job involves selling events to individuals you’ve just met

Job Responsibilities

  • Working Events and Birthday Parties that will require scheduling on Saturdays between the hours of 1:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., and Sundays between 11:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

  • Will be required to work no more than 8 class hours per calendar week
